3-gallon-bucket-hydroponics Auctions and information on hydroponics Needs

Great product, dont think I will ever use anything other than Hydroton pellets. I was worried that the 10l bag wouldnt cover what I needed, but once it got here it was fine. I have plenty and extra left over, fills 10 5″ pots and 6 3″ and I still have some in the bag. Price is great, ten bucks for the amount you get, its a great deal!

Food recalls have reached an all-time high, causing many of us to stress over our produce choices like never before.  Add to the food recalls the facts that fruit and vegetables often travel long distances and are often stored up to two years before reaching the grocery store shelves, it’s no wonder more and more people would like to be able to grow at least some of their own produce. This is quite possible with a hydroponic system.

Thanks to the invention of a hydroponic system, you can—and you don’t even need soil!  That’s because a hydroponic system is a method of growing various plants and vegetables using a water solution that’s rich in the nutrients plants need in order to thrive.

Growing plants and vegetables is relatively easy using a hydroponic system.  You may purchase kits that are generally very compact, which make them a great choice for people who live in apartments and condominiums.  These hydroponic hydroponics Needs system kits are also a good way to introduce children to gardening.

You can get hydroponic system kits for many types of vegetables such as cherry tomatoes, peppers and various herbs as well.  A great thing about  hydroponic system kits such as these is that they do not need natural light and can be grown right on your countertop.  The cost of the kits is quite reasonable—and the benefits are priceless when it comes to knowing your food is safe to eat.

The advantages of using a hydroponic system to grow vegetables are numerous, but chief among them has to be that they’re completely safe.  You know what goes into them, where they were grown and when.  Again, in this day of unheard of food contamination, this one hydroponic system  benefit alone is priceless.

Foods grown using the hydroponic system method also offer the benefits of having a higher nutritional value than traditionally grown foods.  Using a hydroponic system to grow vegetables and other produce also allows you to know exactly what goes into your food and to grow more in less space.  Foods grown hydroponically are also less polluted in general as they are organic and because they’re grown indoors they don’t require the use of pesticides.

Using a hydroponic system to grow vegetables at home just makes sense these days, especially for those who are concerned about food contamination.  Foods grown using a hydroponic system are also less likely to cause allergic reactions or other health problems because they are grown in a pure, controlled environment.

So if you’re stressing over your produce purchases, a hydroponic system just may be the solution you’ve been looking for.  You don’t have to be a gardener to grow foods using a hydroponic system, and you don’t need a garden to grow them in either.  You can grow them right in your own kitchen, under your own supervision.

This is a great starter kit for Hydroponics.
The basic formulas are easy to mix.
Mixing formulas for seedlings, teens and adult plants.
And for bloom or veg cycles.
I love the micro nutrients.
My plants never seem to miss out on anything.

If you are a long time grower, buy bigger sizes.

The unit is quite sturdy and large enough for medium to large plants. I do feel that for the cost of it, that improvements can be made to the way it fits together. Also, adding a slightly bigger pump with an aerator at the bottom of the solution tank would be of significant improvement to it’s performance.

This is a great system for any beginner or pro to the wonderful world of hydro growing! We’ve ordered two of them so far (one for a friend) and we plan on buying ourselves another one as soon as our first crop yeilds some profit!

Lousy directions–obvious that the writer of the directions did not try putting the Hydrofarm together. I found it impossible to attach the light to the stand with the parts supplied.
